How much does a kitchen respray cost in Ireland?
Most kitchen respray projects in Ireland fall between €1,500 and €3,500. The final price comes down to three things: the number of doors and drawer fronts, the prep condition of the existing units, and the finish you choose.

Is a kitchen respray worth it?
For a solid-carcass kitchen in good structural shape — yes. A respray typically costs 70–80% less than a full replacement (a new mid-range kitchen in Ireland runs €10,000–€20,000+ before appliances). You keep your layout, your worktops, and your appliances, and end up with a factory-quality finish in the colour you actually want.
Respraying makes less sense when the carcasses are water-damaged, hinges have failed across the board, or the layout itself doesn't work for how you cook. In those cases a rebuild is the honest answer, and we'll tell you.
What affects the price?
- Door count. More doors = more prep, more spray time, more product.
- Existing finish. Oak, MDF and painted units all prep differently. High-gloss lacquer needs more keying.
- Colour choice. Deep, saturated colours (forest green, navy, charcoal) may need extra coats.
- Hardware swap. New handles, hinges or soft-close mechanisms are billed separately.
